Coffee Houses Became Common Meeting Places

Coffee houses spread across Europe and soon they became gathering places for those intellectuals who debated among themselves. In fact, nothing has really changed with cafe style shops commonplace just about everywhere in the western world today. Once settlers began to arrive in the Americas, coffee soon followed.

By the time of the American Revolution, since the patriots had decided not to drink tea in protest, coffee was actually adopted as the national drink. Since that time, it has continued its domination and is the most popular beverage when you take into consideration all countries.

Popular East Texas getaway, Deer Lake Cabins announces the completion of two new cabin rentals, rounding out a year-long property upgrade project.

The first of the two new cabins, called The Texas Star, is located on the shores of Deer Lake. This cabin comes in at a spacious 1,600 sq. ft. and features 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen and a great room with free WiFi. Complete with two king size beds and 3 double beds, the house can comfortably sleep up to 10 people.

The Texas Star is immaculately furnished with comfortable, yet rustic, Texas ranch themed d?cor that further adds to the guest ranch experience that comes with a stay at Deer lake Cabins. Guests enjoy the large full length covered porch looking out over Deer Lake that is furnished with two tables for seating up to 12 and 4 large wooden rockers. The Texas Star also offers its own large, handcrafted cedar fishing dock providing easy access to great fishing or the perfect spot to sit and relax and look out over the lake.

Full of amenities such as a refrigerator, range, microwave, dishwasher, blender, toaster and coffee maker that further enhance the guests stay, The Texas Star was built with the utmost comfort and home away from home feel in mind.

The other new cabin available from Deer Lake Cabins is called the Sawmill House. The house gets its name from the location on which it is built. Utilizing the site of the ranchs old sawmill, the Sawmill House is a log siding cabin offering seclusion for guests looking for a private stay with little interaction from other guests. The Sawmill house is approximately 1,000 sq. ft. and features 2.5 bedrooms containing 1 king size bed, 2 double beds and a bunk bed for a total sleeping capacity of 8 people. Like the Texas Star, the Sawmill House is immaculately furnished featuring a leather sofa and love seat, charming country d?cor and fresh and clean bedding and linens.

As with all other cabins at Deer Lake Cabins, the Sawmill House comes equipped with amenities such as a refrigerator, washer/dryer, cooking utensils, bbq grill, dishwasher and coffee maker.

The new construction of The Texas Star and Sawmill House are the pinnacle of a yearlong renovation and makeover project of all of the cabins at Deer Lake Cabins.

Every cabin on the property has received a facelift including new, more comfortable furniture, updated flooring, fresh bedding and linens, fresh paint and upgraded amenities and cooking utensils. These new changes further distinguish each of the cabins from each other and bring out each cabins uniqueness and original character.
