how to design an instrument which detects the overflow of milk from electric stove while heating using buzzer?

Every time my mother forgets to turn off the electric stove, so, i want to design an instrument which detects the overflow of milk from electric stove, whenever milk overflows a buzzer sound is used. such that i can save some money. Using low price technique. i am an ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION student such that i can design. Please could any one suggest using optical sensor or any low price method.

There are several problems with this. The design of the circuit is not the main problem.

Where do you place the sensor? It needs to receive some liquid when the overflow occurs in order for it to produce an output. If you, as a test, spilled some water on various parts of the stove, does it accumulate at one spot? Probably not. In fact, if your stove is like mine, the overflow immediately flashes into steam with a lot of noise.

So you will need a bunch of sensors.

Second problem, how do you secure the sensors to the stove top so that they do not get in the way of cooking, and are not burned by the heat?

And how do you protect them from the excessive heat?

And how do you clean them after the are flooded with hot milk?

I don't see an possible solution to those problems, sorry.
