I didn't check the link.

But, I have used several different coffee makers. It should be keeping your coffee warm for some period of time. If this is a new coffee maker and it's not operating correctly, take it back and get another one. Sears is usually pretty good about that.

1. Read the instruction manual. Do you have to set the warmer plate to stay one. (The manual might be on line if you've lost yours.)

2. Some manufacturers have a hot line you can call for help. So, who makes Kenmore for Sears?

3. If you can't return it, or fix it an alternative solution would be to purchase an insulated coffee carafe. Those things keep coffee hot for several hours without using any energy at all.
